Later that afternoon he showed me the timepiece that was in his site and probably gave me the best tutorial on the history of the piece This guy definitely knows his stuff The watch I purchased was even better than I thought and couldn’t be happier. I ordered my watch on Sunday, and OJ called me later that evening to confirm the order and my shipping address, etc. The watch was shipped on Monday and arrived at my local FedEx office at 10:15am on Tuesday. Fast shipping! The watch itself was perfect, in as-new condition as stated, and well packed (double boxed). OJ also threw in a carrying case, screwdriver, and business card holder - much appreciated! I would definitely buy here again. It was a very good experience all round. It's not often you get a personal touch like this, especially when buying from the lower end of a store's inventory.

About the Founder
OJ Whatley was raised in Deerfield, IL, the son of Bob Whatley, a self-made commodities trader on the Chicago Board of Trade/CBOE from Ft Worth, TX. From an early age, OJ's father instilled in him an entrepreneurial spirit.
Watches have always been in OJ's DNA; OJ grew up wearing Casio G-shock and Freestyle surf watches and purchased his first Tag Heuer Formula 1 watch in 1987 from the Sharper Image on Michigan Avenue in Downtown Chicago. OJ won his first Rolex Submariner on the Wheel of Fortune representing University of Miami in College Week, May 1989. OJ started his first watch company, Watch-U-Want on a dial up AOL modem on eBay from his bedroom in 2000 and In 2015, OJ sold Watch-U-Want to Govberg in Philly, PA in a deal that created the foundation for unicorn Startup Watchbox 1916.
In 2020, OJ started his second watch company appropriately titled SecondTime. OJ loves buying selling and trading watches with his long-time clients/friends and has a deep conviction to implement minimum standards around transparency, security, authenticity and identification.
